Those engineers who are looking to only leak check refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump systems. You need this qualification as a licence to practice with fluorinated gases and ozone depleting substances in accordance with the regulations.
This course would suit delegates who clean or carry out routine maintenance on e.g. display cases, condensers, filters etc. and qualifies them to leak check systems and report leaks only.
A good understanding of written & spoken English is required.
On successful completion of the course, a Level 2 award in F-Gas and Ozone-Depleting Substances (ODS) Regulations - Category IV - City and Guilds 2079-14 certificate will be issued, qualifying you to undertake leak checking of equipment containing F-Gas refrigerants.
