The aim of this course is to refresh delegate knowledge about high voltage safety rules and procedures and the relevant legislation surrounding these. This course focuses on delegates learning the skills to produce better documentation, communication and enforcement of safe working procedures.
- You will revisit requirements of statutory regulation/legislation.
- High Voltage Safety Rules and Procedures.
- High Voltage equipment and protection.
- HV ring and radial systems.
- Operating records and documentation.
This course is aimed at delegates who are experienced mechanical and electrical personnel who are currently practicing as high voltage authorised persons and have been nominated for re-appointment.
Delegates with less experience should find the full Authorised Person: High Voltage (Industrial and Commercial) course more appropriate.
PLEASE NOTE: There is no first aid element within this training course.
Delegates complete exercises that involve the management, application and control of documentation.
Delegates are continually assessed, both in knowledge and scenario exercises.
