This course is designed for those who have responsibility for overseeing the work of operatives on site ensuring that work is properly planned and organised.
It establishes that those involved in carrying out the work are competent and properly trained, and that towers are correctly inspected and maintained.
It would be envisaged that you will have a good working knowledge of the Work at Height Regulations and Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
Since the assembly and use of mobile towers can be physically demanding, users should be physically fit, in good health and should, generally, not have problems with eyesight or hearing, heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, fear of heights / vertigo, giddiness / difficulty with balance, impaired limb function, alcohol or drug dependence or psychiatric illness.

The PASMA Towers for Managers Remote Learning is a one-day course.

Q8. What equipment do I need to attend the course?
You'll need an internet-connected computer or laptop, (preferably via ethernet cable) with a working webcam and microphone/speakers as well as access to Microsoft Teams. Tablets and phones are not permitted. If you have any concerns about your device requirements, please call us prior to your course start date on 0345 605 0006. Please also bring photographic ID (passport, driving licence, or CSCS card).

Assessments & Certification
Q9. Is there an exam or assessment?
Yes, you’ll complete an online theory assessment to test your knowledge. The trainer will conduct an online exam with all delegates via video communication on Microsoft Teams. The trainer will read out the questions and answers and accurately record the delegates' chosen answer.

Q10. How long is my PASMA certificate valid for?
Your digital PASMA Photocard and certificate are valid for 5 years. After that, you’ll need to complete a refresher or relevant PASMA course to keep your training up to date.

Q11. When and how will I receive my results and certificate?
Delegates who successfully complete the theory assessment will receive a digital PASMA PhotoCard and certificate within 28 working days. If you would like to receive a physical printed PASMA Photocard and certificate, they can be purchased here.

Each PASMA card has two codes:
Level code - refers to your role
