- Jet cutting – precision and volume removal
- Legislation and Safety at Work Act
- WJA codes of practice
- Jet principles
- Types of nozzles
- Pump Configuration
- Water supply and delivery features
- Pressure safety release options
- Pump and dry shut controls
- Pressure regulators
- Hose construction and pressure ratings
- Hose end fittings
- Water jetting injuries and the effects of impact by high pressure water jet
- Drain and sewer cleaning
- Hose used in drain and sewer application
- Bore size and flow capabilities
- Job assessment and planning to include information assessment, selection of equipment, manning levels, and safe system of work.
This course will benefit those who are required to operate high-pressure water jetting equipment in the course of their work and are looking to obtain a greater understanding, along with those required to carry out drain and sewer cleaning in the course of their work.

On successful completion of this course, a City and Guilds accredited Certificate of Training and a Photo ID Card will be issued by the Water Jetting Association. It is recommended that the Water Jetting Safety Awareness course be retaken every 3 years.
