The Temporary Works General Awareness Training course is designed to provide training for those involved in the temporary works process but who are not undertaking the role of the Temporary Works Co-Ordinator or Supervisor. The course is designed for delegates who have limited or no previous knowledge of temporary works.

  • Understand what constitutes temporary works and how they are used in construction
  • Raise your awareness and improve your understanding of the need to plan for temporary works in construction
  • Support your understanding of common temporary works issues
  • Gain a greater understanding of the management process for temporary works
  • Raise your awareness of the other roles and responsibilities involved in the temporary works process

This course will benefit anyone who is in a position where they come into contact with or have responsibility for temporary works. Typical examples of roles would be directors, contract managers, site foremen, estimators, planners, procurement and commercial managers.

Upon successful completion delegates will receive a CITB certificate valid for 5 years.
