This course will provide delegates with the knowledge required to carry out Authorised Person duties and responsibilities in order to achieve compliance with the requirements of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and specific requirements of the health Technical Memorandum 06-03 Electrical Safety Guidance for High Voltage Systems. This aims to help delegates implement mandatory standards or company safety rules.

- Safe isolation of standby power supplies and equipment
- Roles and duties of the Authorised Person
- Completion of safety documents
This course is aimed at industry experienced delegates who have background knowledge or experience working within an electrical role. This course is best suited for delegate’s who are responsible for the control, maintenance and operation of high voltage equipment. This course is aimed at delegates who have already completed the Authorised Person High Voltage - Operation and Safety (APHV1) course.
Delegates successfully completing the course will receive a City and Guilds certificate highlighting that they have met the assessments.
