Description

This course provides the necessary knowledge and understanding required for managers, directors and principals of HSE asbestos license holders (removal companies etc) to manage asbestos removal contracts. Training is in accordance with Regulation 10 of Control of Asbestos regulations 2006 and HSE Training Guidance Chapter 4.

Pre-Qualification:

A background in asbestos removal industry would be preferred.

Educational Objectives:

The student should be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the methods of working with asbestos in accordance with HSE guidance Chapter 4 Training for Employees, Supervisors & Others Working with Asbestos-Containing Materials.

Examination:

A multi-choice question paper will be undertaken at the end of each training day. Certification will be issued by NATAS once the course is successfully completed. This information will be recorded on the NATAS training database.

Certification:

NATAS Asbestos Removal Manager Initial (valid 12 months annual refresher 1 day).
