Asbestos Operative Refresher Course Syllabus

Description

This course refreshes operatives knowledge and understanding of asbestos removal procedures. Updates are given regarding any changes to legislation and working practices. Training in accordance with Regulation 10 of Control of Asbestos regulations 2006 and HSE Training Guidance Chapter 4.


Pre-Qualification:

Candidates must have previously worked as an asbestos removal operative and been trained to this level within the 12 months prior to taking the course.

Educational Objectives:

The student should be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the methods of working with asbestos in accordance with HSE guidance Chapter 4 Training for Employees, Supervisors & Others Working with Asbestos-Containing Materials.

Examination:

A 50 multi-choice question paper will be undertaken on the day of the course. Certification will be issued by NATAS once the course is successfully completed. This information will be recorded on the NATAS training database.

Certification:

NATAS Asbestos Operative Refresher (valid 12 months legislated).

Costs:

£110 + VAT per person for scheduled courses. Non- NATAS Members £100 + VAT for NATAS Members In-house courses available on request call for quote.

Notes:

Courses subject to minimum numbers. Face fit testing of RPE can be arranged price £35 +VAT per person per mask
