You are taking this course because you may work in buildings where asbestos containing materials (ACMs) may be present.

You will need to be made aware of the properties of asbestos, where it has been used in buildings and when it may present a risk to you.

This will help you to protect yourself from the risk of exposure to airborne asbestos fibres and show you how to comply with the health and safety rules of the asbestos legislation.

This section will introduce you to different types of asbestos along with their properties

Section 03 - Asbestos Applications
This section will explain asbestos application - the places and materials in which it is used.

Section 04 - Asbestos Legislation and Compliance
This section will take you through the framework of asbestos legislation and tell you how to comply with the laws.
