Overview

These courses provide delegates with the knowledge and practical skills required to comply with the Roads and Street Works Act 1991.

HSS Training offers a wide range of Streetworks training to help people work safely and effectively on the public highway. Specific events have been designed to meet the requirements of the current streetworks legislation.

Our streetworks courses will help you to ensure that you meet the requirements of the NRSWA (New Roads and Street Works Act). All events have been updated and durations changed to meet the rigorous assessment standards.

Much of our work is carried out on an in-company basis. This is this is the most effectiveand economical method if you have a group of people who need Streetworks training. These Streetworks courses are usually tailored to include company-specific procedures.

Specification Changes

Significant changes have been made to the Specification for the Reinstatement of Openingsin the Highway (2nd Edition) and the Code of Practice for Safety at Street Works and Road Works. As a result the Awarding Bodies for the Streetworks Qualifications are reviewingtheir assessment standards. Courses have been updated and durations changed to reflect these new, more rigorous, NRSWA (New Roads and Street Works Act) assessment standards.

Certification

Successful completion of the course will result in the issue of a City & Guilds Unit Accredited Certificate.
