Overview

Under the provisions of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 employers have a responsibility to make provision for consultation with employees. Employees are entitled to select at least one individual as a Safety Representative to make representation to management with regard to Health and Safety in the workplace. This 2 day programme is designed to outline the role and function of the Safety Representative.

The course content conforms to the guidance set by the Health and Safety Authority and provides a very comprehensive foundation to Health and Safety. Safety Representatives play a very important part in the consultation process of Health and Safety in any workplace.
