Overview

Each course has a maximum of 10 participants and covers the following:

• Chain of Survival, Scene Safety and Responsibilities of a First Aider
• Unconsciousness
• Resuscitation
• Asphyxia and Heart Attacks - approach and treatment
• Bleeding and Wounds
• Assessment of fractures
• Examination of the eye - treatment of foreign bodies and chemical splashes
• Burns and Scalds Poisoning - causes and treatment
• Epilepsy, Asthma and Crush Injuries - approach and treatment
