F-GAS information sheets - For users of stationary refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump (RAC) systems and contractors and equipment suppliers in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry.
Certification
On successful completion of the course, a Level 2 award in F-Gas and ODS Regulations - Category I - City & Guilds 2079-11 certificate will be issued, qualifying you to undertake leak checking, recovery, installation, service and maintenance of equipmentcontaining F-Gas refrigerants.
Course Entry Criteria
It is recommended that candidates should have or be working towards the level 2 NVQ in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, or an equivalent or higher qualification, in order to be able to satisfactorily complete the City and Guilds level 2 award in F-Gas and ODS Regulations.
Without evidence of formal qualifications, candidates must be able to demonstrate adequate prior knowledge and experience to ensure they have the potential to successfully gain the qualification(s).
