HSS Training is now working in partnership with NATAS to provide asbestos specialist training and consultancy. Licensed courses are delivered across the UK and Ireland with the aim to train and accredit the asbestos industry to the highest standards. Ideal for asbestos workers and operative supervisor. Courses can be tailored to encompass your own asbestos policy and documentation, and the special characteristics of your business.

Asbestos - Duty to Manage

Designed for those with duty to manage responsibilities for asbestos management within the workplace and specifically for duty-holders under Regulation 4 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006.

Asbestos Operative Initial Training

This course provides operatives knowledge and understanding of asbestos removal procedures. Course content is delivered via theory and practical training methods. Training is in accordance with Regulation 10 of Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 and HSE Training Guidance Chapter.

Asbestos Operative Refresher

This course refreshes operatives knowledge and understanding of asbestos removal procedures. Updates are given regarding any changes to legislation and working practices. Training in accordance with Regulation 10 of Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 and HSE Training Guidance Chapter 4.

Asbestos Supervisor Initial

This course provides the necessary knowledge and skills for the supervision of asbestos removal projects and operatives. Course content is delivered via theory and practical training methods. Training is in accordance with Regulation 10 of Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 and HSE Training Guidance Chapter 4.

Asbestos Supervisor Refresher

This course refreshes supervisors knowledge and understanding of asbestos removal project supervision. Updates are given regarding any changes to legislation and working practices. Training is in accordance with Regulation 10 of Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 and HSE Training Guidance Chapter 4.

Non Licensed Asbestos Work

Persons requiring this training will include those whose work will knowingly disturb asbestos containing materials during the course of their work activities, including building maintenance workers and supervisory personnel, and building maintenance managers. Successful completion of the course will allow candidates to undertake asbestos non licensed works in accordance with the Control of Asbestos regulations 2006 and all associated Codes of practice.

Asbestos Removal New Manager/Director

This course provides the necessary knowledge and understanding required for managers, directors and principals of HSE asbestos licence holders (removal companies etc) to manage asbestos removal contracts. Training is in accordance with Regulation 10 of Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 and HSE Training Guidance Chapter 4.
